Gibson Cromwell(??)

No case. Very padded gig bag included.

Well, I don’t know for sure what this is. I am listing as a Gibson Cromwell because of the shape of the peg head and high quality tuners. The tuners are original. There are no other tuner screw holes or installation impressions besides these very nice tuners. Also, the fret board and string harp are Indian rosewood. So this is a used good quality instrument. But I am not going to guarantee anything as far as manufacturer.

Was this built war time? Wood string harp due to metal shortages? I dunno. It is original.

Neck was refinished and reset. Other than an improved solid bridge with bone insert and some finish touch up and new frets, that is about it.

It sounds surprisingly good. Harmonic overtones are all there. Definitely not originally built as a budget guitar.

I am hoping some collector will see this for what it is. The guitar is nicely playable and sounds good.

No returns on this particular guitar. I don’t work on archtops. No idea how to repair other than bridge and neck, so at this price, you are getting a bargain.
