Harmony H1233 12 String V-braced Conversion (378) - SOLD

This is not a Sovereign.

Set up for D’Addario EJ41 Extra Light Gauge Strings.

Sound is excellent even with extra light gauge strings. And you can tune to full pitch.

This is a 14 fret 12 string built for persons with smaller hands. The body is a little smaller than 000 size.

Neck was reset.

Back was removed, braces removed, new braces installed.

We pay attention to small details. The inside back and sides are cleaned up and sanded smooth. Back braces are rounded and sanded smooth. We chip out the glue globs. Top braces are tapered and sanded smooth. Serial numbers (if any) are preserved. We do what Harmony should have done 50 years ago.

Please note, this guitar is lightly braced and therefore is intended for extra light gauge strings. This guitar is not set up for medium or heavy gauge strings.

• Truss Rod - Modern aluminum "U" channel like Martin uses. Works very well.

Condition

• Body - Very nice and clean throughout with one exception: there is a repair patch on the upper bout. This is very well stabilized, which you can see from inside the guitar body. There is a discolored area on the side. See images.
• Top - No cracks or pick wear. There are several through the finish gouges.
• Gear head is excellent.

Made In USA

This guitar has the original tuners. These tuners are the usual Harmony quality which means they are not terribly friendly. However, I am including a free tuner grip cheater in the case. This makes tuning any 12 string a breeze.
