Gear head face finish and labels are excellent. Looks like a new guitar right out of the factory.
Sound is nice. This is to say, better than any ladder braced H1260 you will hear.
We pay attention to fine details. The inside back and sides are cleaned up and sanded smooth. We chip out all of the glue globs. Braces are tapered and sanded smooth. Serial numbers (if any) are preserved. Back braces are rounded and sanded smooth. We use a drill press and reamer to install new solid metal bushings and modern tuners. We do what Harmony should have done 50 years ago.
Excellent top has four almost invisible streaks of pick wear above the sound hole. Visible thru the finish pick wear south and west of the pick guard. We left this as is. There is an odd dark color stain below the bridge. I think someone was doing their finger nails in brown. One 3 inch crack on side. Otherwise, back and sides are mostly clean. There are the usual dings and marks here and there consistent with age and use.
