Harmony Sovereign H1260 V-braced Conversion (#185)
Back was removed, braces removed, new braces installed.
Structurally speaking, this is in excellent condition.
This is yet another in a series of great sounding large bodied brace conversions. Exceptional sound.
We pay attention to fine details. The inside back and sides are cleaned up and sanded smooth.
We chip out all of the glue globs. Braces are tapered and sanded smooth. Serial numbers (if any) are preserved.
Back braces are rounded and sanded smooth. We use a drill press and reamer to install new
solid metal bushings and modern tuners. We do what Harmony should have done 50 years ago.

Condition
- Neck is excellent. Exceptional playability on all frets. Truss rod works good.
- Action is 4/64" at the 12th fret. Low-E is slightly higher per most customer requests.
- Top has a break in the north east corner. This is repaired and 100% stable.
- Back has 1/16" cherry strip beneath the back binding. This is only visible from the back. I cannot brag about the finish quality.
It's OK, certainly not major. There are several very small patch areas around the back sides.
This guitar was well beat up. So, when we removed the back binding. several wood chips came off. All areas are 100% structurally sound.
- There was a major bashed in area on one side. Area is approximately 1.5 x 1 inch. As with all cracks, this is very substantially
repaired and stabilized. You can easily see our top notch repair work through the sound hole.
- Missing pick guard.
- There is a strap peg hole in the upper bout. I will reinstall the strap peg before shipping.
- Action is 4/64" at the 12th fret. Low-E is slightly higher per most customer requests.
Moonlightluthiers - Have pick will travel.
