Harmony Sovereign H1260 (branded as Airline) V-braced Conversion (345) - SOLD

Sound is exceptional even with light gauge strings. This has full bodied harmonic overtones and crunchy bass. These Airline versions of the Sovereign H1260 are always the pick of the lot. This is due to the much lighter bridge. Light in weight equals great in sound. And this guitar does not disappoint.

Neck was reset.

Back was removed, braces removed, new braces installed.

We almost always replace the heel cap, which is usually loose or crumbling.

We pay attention to small details. The inside back and sides are cleaned up and sanded smooth. Back braces are rounded and sanded smooth. We chip out the glue globs. Top braces are tapered and sanded smooth. Serial numbers (if any) are preserved. We do what Harmony should have done 50 years ago.

Condition

Body - No cracks. Very clean, almost excellent. The only exception to this is some machine marks on the back. At one time a prior owner installed a string harp. The screw holes are filled, but still visible. They must have given up trying to play because the fret board was untouched.
Top - Almost perfect with no cracks and no pick wear anywhere. There are a few almost not visible scuff marks.
Gear head is excellent.
