Tone quality and harmonic response are excellent. This guitar offers nice play feel and perfect intonation. Action is 4/64 at the 12th fret. I predict you will put all other guitars aside and play this one. Check my feedback and you will know.

Neck was reset.

Back was removed, ladder bracing on top was removed, new X-bracing installed.

Back bracing is original, but rounded and sanded smooth.

• Neck - Solid Honduras mahogany. Classic C shape like Martin of that era
• Fret Board - Indian rosewood
• Back and sides - Solid Honduras mahogany
• Truss Rod - original and working
• Pick guard - original.

Condition

• Top - good. There are dings but no pick wear. A previous tech or owner had removed the bridge and left some cosmetic issues behind. All issues are repaired. No structural issues.
• Sides - good - no cracks. Lots of finish imperfections. There is router bearing damaged around the lower sides.
• Back - good - no cracks. Lots of finish imperfections. There is a 2x4 inch area showing bad finish. This is original damage.
• Gear head face is very good.
• Gear head back is good.
• Neck is excellent but with some play wear showing.
• Fret board was refreshed. Nice and smooth and way better than original.

Please note: many sellers do not accept returns. I do. I am dedicated to customer satisfaction. This is a great guitar you will want to keep and play for years. This is not something I just want to get rid of. Please know this is a much loved, vintage guitar with dings and 50 years of play wear. I have done very few if any finish repairs. You are buying this guitar for tone quality, play feel, and reliability. Most people interested in this guitar could not care less about how it looks. Jimmy wishes he owned this!
