Very nice condition. Neck, top, back and sides have original finish. I rate the finish as 8 out of ten. Side has a 6 inch long crack very well repaired.
Top is nice and clean with no pick wear and is original with no touch ups.
Gear head face is almost perfect with minimal finish missing.
Sound is truly exceptional. And I do mean exceptional. This guitar sounds as good as any guitar by any manufacturer. You may notice I do not make this claim on of our guitars.
We pay attention to fine details. The inside back is cleaned up and sanded smooth. The sides are sanded smooth (like Martin does). We chip out all of the glue globs. Braces are tapered and sanded smooth. Serial numbers (if any) are preserved. Back braces are rounded and sanded smooth. We use a drill press, reamer and guide pin to install new solid metal bushings. Tuners are new and far better than the originals. We do what Harmony should have done 50 years ago.
Action is 4/64 inch at 12th fret. Maybe slighly higher on the A and Low E.
To those astute viewers of our website, yes, this is a duplicate #164 to a previous H1260 sale. OOPS!
There is one crack 1/2 inch from and parallel to the fret board. This is perfectly repaired. No other cracks in top. There are two through the finish dings showing.
