Yes, finish is rough. We left it exactly as received, with very minor touch ups. Top finish looks rough but is in very good condition with just a little pick wear south west on the sound hole.

This guitar is for those who like the seriously vintage look.

Back was removed, braces removed, new braces installed.

Neck is excellent. Action is 4/64 at the 12th fret.

Structurally speaking, this is in excellent condition.

This is yet another in a series of great sounding large bodied brace conversions. Exceptional sound. Considering age, this guitar is in great shape structurally.

We pay attention to fine details. The inside back and sides are cleaned up and sanded smooth. We chip out all of the glue globs. Braces are tapered and sanded smooth. Serial numbers (if any) are preserved. Back braces are rounded and sanded smooth. We use a drill press and reamer to install new solid metal bushings and modern tuners. We do what Harmony should have done 50 years ago.

Condition

• All cracks if any, are substantially aligned and stabilized. No damage cracks in top.
• No side cracks worth mentioning.
• There is 3/4 inch scuff mark on the right side, upper bout.
• There are several through the finish dings in the top.
• Top planks are of excellent quality with minimal run out.
