Tone quality is Very nice with full harmonic response.
This guitar offers nice play feel and perfect intonation. Play action is 4/64 at the 12th fret
Neck was reset.
Back was removed, ladder bracing on top was removed, new forward shifted 100 degree X-bracing installed. All cracks
(if any) are comprehensively stabilized. Easy to do when the back is off.
Back bracing is original, but rounded and sanded smooth.
Structural bracing is added to the sides for improved tone. I do not believe anyone else does this but it is
my mark of quality workmanship.
As usual, satisfaction is guaranteed. Returns allowed per our warranty.
I pay attention to small details. Top braces are tapered and sanded smooth. The inside back and sides are
cleaned up and sanded smooth. Back braces are rounded and sanded smooth.
Harmony production glue globs are chipped out. Serial numbers (if any) are preserved.

Condition
- Well this was a fine mess I got myself into. The pick up was hanging by a thread and not working. I had it
re-wound. The installation screws were missing so those are new. The neck was a mess, now repaired.
- Top - Crack free. No play wear. Lots of dings and stains.
- Sides - solid mahogany refinished. One 2-inch impact crack
- Back solid mahogany refinished in excellent condition
- Back - Excellent condition - No cracks
- Gear head face is fair. "Harmony" letters are worn away.
- Gear head back is very good. However, there is a repaired crack. This will cause no issues and is covered by warranty.
- Neck is very good.
- Pick up - works. Plays loud. Volume control works. Tone control does not seem to have any affect.
Since I don’t do electronics, I will leave this to the buyer to repair.
- This appears to be a 1950s H55. I am guessing. The body is smaller, like an H162. Also, the "Harmony" letters
are often worn away on other 50s Sovereigns of that era. Don’t quote me on that.
Please note: many sellers do not accept returns. I do. I am dedicated to customer satisfaction.
This is a great guitar you will want to keep and play. This is not something I just want to get rid of.
