Neck was reset.

Back was removed, braces removed, new V- pattern braces installed.

Since I have never owned, heard or played one of these, I have no idea whether this sounds good. I think it sounds great, but this is entirely due to lack of experience. This is one of the larger Oahu lap steel acoustics. I believe, but cannot verify that this is a 66K deluxe. It certainly is nicer with better quality materials by far than the next smaller size.

Finish is consistent throughout. The images show some odd light reflections, but this is only light. There are no odd color areas, excepting small scratches. Only the top is refinished. Back and sides are original finish.

Condition

• Top - There was one bad crack to the north west of the bridge. This is comprehensively repaired. Rest of top is excellent. Due to V-bracing top is dead flat. There is one bad 1 inch binding area near the fret board extension.
• Back binding was replaced with ivoroid binding. This no longer matches the lovely checker binding around the top.
• Body - Two cracks in back, stable. Many small dings and small finish imperfections. No significant scratches.
• Gear head back and face are very good.
• Neck - Very good. No significant problems.
